Director of Marketing

We are building an inclusive, human-centred product and are looking for a Director of Marketing to join our remote team and change how people perceive dating, sexuality and relationships.

You will be responsible for developing short-term and long-term strategies across the board, leading our marketing teams and working closely with the VP of Growth in order to unlock and optimise Feeld’s growth objectives.

To be right for this role, you should have 7 - 10 years experience in a dynamic, growth-focussed marketing environment, and the proven ability to design and implement best-in-class campaigns.

What you will do:

  1. Own and develop everything to do with the marketing functions within Feeld’s Growth Circle, including planning, strategy, reporting, and managing the yearly budget.
  2. Devise, create and oversee innovative, industry-leading marketing campaigns that deliver on the growth goals of Feeld.
  3. Closely monitor current market trends and competitor activities, and develop creative marketing strategies that take these into account.
  4. Develop and lead our influencer and affiliate marketing efforts.
  5. Build and support a world-class marketing team.
  6. Manage and maintain strong relationships with external agencies and vendors.
  7. Collaborate with others across departments, and build and execute a communication strategy that aligns our Growth and Creative teams.
  8. Learn from previous marketing experiments how we can maximise performance across our current channels, as well as unlocking the potential of new avenues.

How you will grow:

  • Broaden your understanding of app-specific marketing opportunities.

  • Expand your confidence when it comes to designing and implementing ambitious, cutting-edge campaigns.

About you:

  • You have 7 -10 years of experience across the whole range of the marketing spectrum, including Product, Growth, Digital and Influencer.
  • You pride yourself on your analytical rigor, and a mentality driven by data and process.
  • You’re creative and unafraid to do things differently.
  • Your verbal and written communication skills are razor-sharp.
  • You’re growth-focussed and open-minded about exploring new avenues to achieve success.
  • You’re consistent and decisive, with the confidence to change direction on projects and experiments with low ROI.
  • You have a flexible, selfless approach to collaboration and execution.
  • Your creative approach to problem-solving means you see challenges and threats as opportunities.
  • You’re able to balance managing teams with competing priorities and with various skill levels.

Bonus points:

  • You have experience of fully, or mostly, remote working.
  • You have experience of working in a fast-moving start-up or scale-up environment.
  • You’re passionate about contributing to a more open, human-centred workplace.

Our interview process:

  • Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask - and receive answers - regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
  • Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
  • The next step for most of our roles is a candidate challenge. This is an evaluation of the skills relevant to be successful in this role and generally takes about an hour to complete.
  • Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld.
  • We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation.
  • Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability.
