Feeld Social took a cosy turn this month. Set in London’s West End at the LIBRARY club, over one hundred likeminded guests showed up to meet and mingle, sharing drinks and finger food by candle light with a DJ set by BBZ's very own Sippin T.
Guests were greeted and guided by exuberant party host Charlie Partridge who led the speed social rounds and introduced performances from lip-syncing queen Soraya Marchelle and Floor Length Frankie, who used her 6ft ponytail to hoist handwritten anonymous love letters up to the balcony to be read out:
“I know we’re supposed to speak to someone new every 5 minutes, but I just want to hang out with you all night”, read one. Another revealed:
“I genuinely appreciate you telling me that you really want children on our first speed date! That kind of honesty is only possible at Feeld”
There were more secrets to be discovered in Room 7; a private suite on the upper floor of the building, hosting intimate installations like body positive life-drawing, a sensual supper and a reverse striptease performance by the incredible Anselme Glitz, who allowed guests to explore their boundaries in a safe and consensual space.
Set over two floors, with comfy seating and low-lit tables, the LIBRARY was the perfect place to cosy up and get to know new faces. Some guests used the in-house board game selection to test their new connections. From all accounts, the singles versus couples game was strong.
As the night drew to a close, guests gathered in small groups to collect their coats, sharing their experiences as they made their way past the book shelves and into the night.
