26. Member Protection
26.1. Feeld implements multiple methods of preventing and minimizing the presence and publishing of illegal content (including terrorism content, CSAM, as defined below, and other priority illegal content). This includes the use of automated tools, including those proactive tools as set out below in this paragraph, and manual review by our moderation team in accordance with our internal policies.
26.2. Feeld’s moderation team reviews reports of illegal content submitted by members, including for credibility. The team further investigates reports where necessary and takes immediate Enforcement Action if illegal content is identified. Feeld ensure to consistently apply internal policies in alignment with Feeld’s Terms and Community Guidelines. Feeld also keeps under review block and appeal processes for both automated and human moderation decisions to ensure consistent and good faith application of Feeld policies. How Feeld deals with particular types of illegal content is set out below.
26.2.1 Terrorism content. Feeld’s moderation team enacts the following protocols to ensure that such terrorism content is minimized on Feeld:
- Cloudinary, an automated tool enacted against potential terrorism content as set out in paragraph 26.5 below.
The illegal content processes as set out in paragraphs 26.1 and 26.2 above. Reports of terrorism content (and CSAM) are prioritized above other types of illegal content.
26.2.2 Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse content (“CSAM”). Feeld’s moderation team enacts the following protocols to ensure that CSAM is minimized on Feeld:
- Cloudinary, an automated tool enacted against potential CSAM as set out in paragraph 26.5 below.
- The illegal content processes as set out in paragraphs 26.1 and 26.2 above. Reports of CSAM (and terrorism content) are prioritized above other types of illegal content.
- Verifying ages of Members and flagged profiles and enforcing Feeld’s Age Controls through (a) Feeld’s strict enforcement of its 18+ age policy for all Members; and (b) utilization of third-party age verification and Mobile Network Operator checks provided by Yoti. Feeld also actively works to detect solicitation content through automated tooling and our Member reporting framework.
26.2.3 Other priority illegal content.
By “priority illegal content”, we mean hate, harassment, stalking threats and abuse, controlling or coercive behaviour, intimate image abuse, extreme pornography, sexual exploitation of adults, human trafficking, unlawful immigration, fraud and financial offences, proceeds of crime, drugs and psychoactive substances, firearms, knives and other weapons, encouraging or assisting suicide, foreign interference, and animal cruelty. Feeld’s moderation team enacts the following protocols to ensure that other illegal priority content is minimized:
- Cloudinary, an automated tool enacted against priority illegal content as set out in paragraph 26.5 below.
Illegal content processes as set out in paragraphs 26.1 and 26.2 above.
26.3. Reporting Illegal Content.
- To report any illegal content, or appeal any moderation decision regarding a report, please follow the procedure outlined in paragraph 25 above.
- Upon being alerted to illegal content by Member reports, or upon becoming aware of verifiable illegal content in any way, Feeld shall quickly and completely remove the illegal content from the service and take proportional action against the violating party as soon as reasonably practicable.
- In handling and resolving complaints, reports, or appeals regarding illegal or prohibited content, Feeld will refer to and abide by the policies outlined in these Terms, Feeld’s Community Guidelines, Feeld’s Privacy Policy, and any laws or regulations applicable to the nature of the complaint, report, or appeal.
Process. Upon receipt of any reports or complaints relating to illegal or prohibited content, such complaints will be processed through Feeld’s internal Support Team where the matter will be investigated to determine credibility and acted upon accordingly, including the immediate removal of any illegal content. Relevant complaints, or appeals of complaints, may be escalated to Feeld’s Legal Team depending on the nature and severity of the complaint or appeal. Feeld shall uphold any appealed moderation decisions relating to illegal content if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the subject content is indeed illegal in nature.
- Please note that a Member account may be banned automatically if it receives a threshold level of Member-generated reports or complaints. Furthermore, Feeld may ban a Member account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the Member has submitted a threshold level of factually unfounded or malicious complaints or reports.
26.4. Child Protection. Feeld is strictly only for individuals who are 18 years or older. Feeld therefore implements the following applications and methods to prevent children (i.e., under 18 years of age) from accessing Feeld:
(a) Yoti, an application which will provide age verification checks using a Member’s mobile phone data to determine adequate age status and age estimation facial recognition technology. In limited circumstances, Members may elect to use Yoti for age verification by using a valid government identification card.
(b) Mobile network operator verification; and
(c) Feeld’s internal moderation team and third-party moderation partners.
To report any improper use or access of Feeld by children, please follow the reporting procedures set forth in paragraph 25 above.
26.5. Automated Tools. Feeld uses the following automated tools to proactively monitor content:
(a) Tool 1: SEON.
Feeld uses SEON at registration of a Feeld account and throughout Member usage of Feeld services.
Purpose of SEON:
- Disallowing registrations from countries where Feeld is not available
- Fraud detection at registration
- Fake account detection at registration
- Bad actor detection
What SEON does:
- Verifies the location of the individual
- Detects indicators of fraud activity at registration

- Monitors account activity for patterns of behaviour consistent with accounts that are not good faith members of Feeld’s community.
(b) Feeld Safety Service
Feeld uses Feeld Safety Service throughout Member usage of Feeld services.
Purpose of workflow:
Automatically blocking accounts when a specified number of community reports are received
What the workflow does:
- Calculates the number of community reports received relating to a member and triggers an automated warning when a threshold is reached.
- Calculates the number of community reports received relating to a member and automatically blocks the account when a threshold is reached.
(c) Cloudinary
Feeld Deploys Cloudinary on an ongoing basis, including at account creation and through account usage.
Purpose of Cloudinary:
- Age detection
- Other banned content detection
What Cloudinary does:
- Reviews profile images and uses pattern recognition to flag images that appear to show underage people to our moderators for age verification
- Reviews images for evidence of content that is not permitted under Feeld’s community standards, such as images depicting graphic adult nudity or sexual activity, restricted goods or QR codes
(d) Yoti
Purpose of Yoti
- Age detection and verification
- Identity verification
What Yoti does:
- Employs facial recognition and age estimation technology for age verification during Feeld Member onboarding.
- In instances where Members are unable to comply with initial age detection and/or identity verification measures, Members may elect to provide Yoti with a valid government identification card for processing strictly limited to age and identity verification. Any government identification data that members elect to provide shall be immediately purged from Yoti storage after verification.
26.6. Feeld’s Moderation Teams. The teams carry out the following activities:
- Receive reports from members
- Assess reports and reporter profiles to ensure reports are made in good faith
- Investigate good faith reports
- Verify the age of individuals flagged by our age detection tools or through Member reports
- Detect overt solicitation activity
- Apply internal policies to content and accounts throughout the moderation process.

27. How Feeld works
27.1. Feeld uses a ‘content-based filtering’ approach to show you profiles of people with criteria that are likely to match yours.
27.2. When you set up or review your profile, you tell us what you are looking for and we match you with other members who are likely to share your desires.
27.3. We use these to match you with other people who give us similar answers
27.4. We present you with a selection of profiles, with priority given to profiles based on:
27.5. Age preference – we show profiles where your age profiles are aligned
27.6. Mutual interest – we show profiles belonging to members who have Liked you
27.7. Purchase history – we show profiles belonging to members who have purchased profile raising services
27.8. Geographic location – we show people whose profiles are listed as being within your preferred distance
27.9. Majestic members will also see
- Sexual interests – we show profiles belonging to members whose sexual interests most closely match your own
- Engagement – we show profiles belonging to members who have recently used the Feeld app
27.10. We may deprioritise profiles if the profile appears to be inactive, e.g. the member has not logged in for one year.
