Communication Associate

We’re looking for a Communication Associate to join our remote team and change how people perceive dating, sexuality and relationships.

At Feeld, we are creating a world where everyone is more intimately connected to each other and themselves. We are building an inclusive, human-centred product and are looking for a Communication Associate to become part of our remote team and our mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships.

Public relations have been a key pillar of Feeld’s success. In the last twelve months alone, we’ve been featured in Vogue, The Information and New Yorker. This role gives the opportunity to be part of shaping the perception of dating, sexuality, and relationships, and to establish Feeld as the leader in its category.

As PR Executive/Communication Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the team in day-to-day PR activities at Feeld. Your main focus will be media relations, project management, community relations, and tracking and showcasing the value of PR.

To be right for this role, you should have 3+ years of experience in the PR, communications or similar fields, either at an agency or an in-house team.

What you will do

  • Monitoring & Reporting
    • Monitoring news for Feeld via our media monitoring services
    • Report and analyze the coverage of Feeld and competitors and publish monthly reports on our internal channels
    • Monitor and report on potential crisis and threats for Feeld and the overall dating and technology industry
  • Media relations
    • Research & pitching
      • Manage all incoming press requests to secure coverage for Feeld
      • Draft communication materials for incoming opportunities, including speaking opportunities, biographies, briefings, quotes, interview responses etc.
      • Create and update databases with key journalists and stakeholders relevant to Feeld
      • Be proactive in building relationships with key journalists in order to secure coverage for Feeld
      • Research and collaborate with the wider team (creative, product, growth) to pitch strategic and timely news stories to secure coverage for Feeld
      • Research relevant events, awards, and moments for the brand to continuously update our database
    • Case study sourcing and community engagement
      • Collaborate with the Growth, Content, and Customer Support teams to connect with engaged Feeld users who want to share and communicate their story.
      • Organize databases with their contacts and stories and scale our knowledge and relationships with the community and media
    • Data-driven Storytelling and Management
      • Work closely with the Data team to pull regular data insights on Feeld’s community in order to build relevant press stories
      • Keep data insights documentation up to date
      • Work across teams to conduct bi-annual data set updates of main company metrics shared externally
  • Project Management Support
    • Keep project and task management tool Asana up to date with workload between all Comms Team members and wider creative team
    • Keep all documentation up to date in Notion and coordinate information flow between team members and across teams
    • Keep all key Comms Team documentation up to date: core press documents, decks, data insights, key messages et al.

About you

  • Self-starter, ambitious, and motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (the main work language at Feeld)
  • Eager to learn and comfortable with an ever-evolving work environment
  • Can work and handle time-sensitive requests and tasks
  • Excellent at prioritizing, highly organized, with an eye for detail and precision
  • You are culturally curious, stay on top of trends and pop-culture, consume media on a daily basis, and have avid interest in the topics of technology and dating
  • Strive for quality and the highest industry standards in everything you do
  • Extremely comfortable with handling data and analysing data from self-serving dashboards and producing insights from comparing data sets
  • Sensitivity and understanding towards the human experience and what that means for society, dating, and work today


  • Existing relationships with key media in the lifestyle, tech, business, and design disciplines are an advantage**,** but are not necessary to apply for this role
  • Knowledge on work with Asana, Notion, Pitch, and Muck Rack (or similar tools) are a plus but not necessary to applying for the role.

  • At Feeld we believe all humans deserve to make a competitive wage. That's why we offer a Baseline Freedom Salary of $80,000 or £60,000 per year.
  • The base salary for this role is between $80,000.00-$90,000.00 USD

Our interview process

  • Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask - and receive answers - regarding any general questions you have about our culture and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
  • Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
  • Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and culture.
  • After our third conversation, we often ask our candidates to complete a skills-based challenge. The challenge takes about an hour to complete and helps our team evaluate how your skills match the requirements of the role.
  • The final step in our interview process is a final call to follow up with any questions you have that have been left unanswered at this stage of your application.
  • We generally make an offer within 1 week of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as 1 week from when you confirm our offer is accepted.
  • Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability.
