Emily Tobin, The World of Interiors

Emily Tobin is Editor of The World of Interiors. She joined the title in 2022 after 11 years at House & Garden where she wore many hats – including arts and features editor. She was also the host of a weekly talk series on design, art and culture. Under Emily’s leadership, The World of Interiors launched worldofinteriors.com and introduced new features such as Room for Debate; Wellsprings and an annual writing competition. Emily is on the steering committee for United in Design and in 2018 she collaborated on a book charting the history of English interiors with decorator David Mlinaric and photographer Derry Moore. She champions story-telling that is intelligent, weird, witty and wide-reaching in its curiosity.
