London, UK, November 10 — Feeld, the dating app for the curious, unveils the second issue of AFM (A F*cking Magazine / A Feeld Magazine), its print publication created in collaboration with its members. Each issue translates Feeld’s ethos into a physical artifact, inviting readers to enjoy the tactile pleasures of print while exploring bold perspectives in literature and visual art.
This issue, titled Mind Games, explores the puzzles our thoughts create—how they shift, deceive, and reshape across love, memory, and identity. With essays, fiction, photography, and poetry from leading contemporary voices, the issue takes on affirmations, revisions, and the rewrites we make to our own stories, turning assumptions inside out. AFM Issue 2 continues Feeld’s mission to expand conversations around intimacy and culture, asking readers to look closer. And then look again.
Nan Goldin & Kelsey Lu Reunite for AFM
Cellist and musician Kelsey Lu is the cover star of AFM Issue 2, accompanied by photos taken by legendary photographer and activist Nan Goldin. Shot on location, Lu’s ongoing friendship with Goldin radiates throughout the series, which are a masterwork of grace, trust, and beauty. Lu speaks with former Pitchfork EIC and music journalist Puja Patel, and in their conversation Lu reflects on creativity, performance, control, and desire.
Dreams, Fantasies, Affirmations, and Memories
AFM Issue 2 showcases the power of artistic freedom, offering a platform for creators to express, experiment, and redefine their work. Essays, fiction, poetry, interviews, and visual pieces from contributors such as Jamie Hood, Hannah Black, Jamieson Webster, Carl Phillips, Sarah Miller, Torbjorn Rodland, James Ivory, Catherine Lacey, and Mona Chalabi, among many others, all offer their own perspective on the tricks our mind plays on or with us.
“Each issue of AFM aims to make an incision in time: capturing the specificity of how we experience relationships now while creating something lasting and beautiful,” explains Maria Dimitrova, founding co-editor of AFM. “ Issue 2 marks a subtle evolution of our original editorial and design vision, bringing together poets, novelists, musicians, visual artists, and Feeld members in conversations that seek to expand how intimacy can be experienced and expressed, on and off the page.”
Haley Mlotek, founding co-editor of AFM and director of content at Feeld adds,
“Every issue of AFM is designed to be an invitation—our aim is always to create a magazine that is in conversation with our readers, offering a material expression of the thoughts, ideas, and artistry always present in the experiences of relationships and intimacy. This issue of AFM, like our first, was made to be a beautiful and thoughtful addition to a reader’s collection, and with the calibre of our contributors’ work and the vision of Merel’s art direction I feel so excited that Maria and I are now able to share it with everyone.”
Built By The Feeld Community, For The Community
True to Feeld’s philosophy, AFM is not only a platform for renowned contributors but also a home for its own community. Issue 2 brings this vision to life through a special feature photographed by Kees de Klein, who spotlights members from Amsterdam and offers an intimate glimpse into their lives, connections, and expressions of desire. The spread features community-sourced content—including pre-date playlists, solicited nudes, memorable Feeld encounters and photographs of the spaces they call home—creating a mosaic of modern intimacy that showcases how Feeld’s community continues to redefine connection.
Art & design director Merel van den Berg adds, “In designing this issue, we highlighted magazines’ historical role as cultural touchstones and community gathering spaces, curating diverse reading experiences across fiction, poetry, essays, vox pop, and photography. Drawing inspiration from vintage erotica, literary publications, and independent zines, our design explores the tension between digital and print, creating moments where tactile and screen-based experiences intersect, much like the interplay between on- and offline dating.”
AFM is celebrating the release of its latest issue with parties in London and NYC, bringing together artists, writers, and members of the Feeld community. Please reach out to press contact below for further details.
