LOS ANGELES, CA, OCTOBER 13 – Today, Feeld, the dating app for fluid exploration, announces Mindf*ck, an intimacy forum imagining new ways of understanding connection and desire, taking over Los Angeles’ Hammer Museum on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. While most of the dating industry is still trying to fix dating as we know it. Feeld ask a different question: “If the old scripts for dating are losing their power, what could we write instead?

Headlining the day are actor and comedian Hannah Einbinder; psychoanalyst Dr. Orna Guralnik, of Couples Therapy; and artist, filmmaker, and author Miranda July. They'll be joined by writer and performer Alok, and artist and technologist Mindy Seu, and more. Mindf*ck subverts the traditional conference panel, designed as a playground, where artists and academics gather with the Feeld community to discover, explore, and reflect.

[QUOTE HANNAH (Pending Approval): "So much of what we feel around intimacy, desire and even identity is shaped by shame we've picked up along the way, without ever asking whether we actually believe any of it," said Hannah Einbinder. "Carrying around someone else's discomfort is very generous, but at some point, enough is enough. We don't need everything figured out to have an honest conversation about desire. We can ask questions, challenge assumptions and laugh a little along the way."

The old scripts are losing their power

Modern dating is a Mindf*ck. Words don’t match actions. Realities aren’t shared. Connection fizzles when people want it to burn. The old rules are fading and the new ones haven't been written yet, so most are left working it out alone, through trial and error.

Mindf*ck takes that conversation off the app. It's an invitation to step outside the fray, let go of old thinking and consider connection from a distance. What are the conditions for intimacy? Is it the space between bodies? Becoming legible to someone else? The spark of possibility when you meet someone new?

Feeld can promise you won't get answers. Instead, expect to leave with perspectives, possibilities and a room full of people asking the same questions. Guests will move between immersive workshops, talks and intimate salons where they put new language into practice, because the future of intimacy has to be imagined together.

[DRAFT FOR APPROVAL] “We didn't want to build another conference where people sit in rows and get told what intimacy should be," said Lani Kuramato, Feeld's Chief Marketing Officer. “Our members have never followed a script, and neither have we. Everyone we're bringing together is already rewriting the rules, in their work and in their lives. Mindf*ck is the first chapter of a much bigger conversation Feeld wants to host about how people connect now."
