Asha Ransby-Sporn

Asha Ransby-Sporn is a Chicago-based political organizer and writer who believes in the potential of everyday people coming together to change the world. She has built social movement organizations, led on campaigns to tax the rich and win investments in Black and working-class communities, and worked to elect community leaders to office. Asha is a columnist for In These Times magazine and you can find her knocking doors in her neighborhood or riding her bike along Lake Michigan when the sun is out.
