David O'Neill

David O’Neill is an author, editor, writing coach, and artist in New York City. His criticism has appeared in The New Yorker, 4Columns, Artforum, and other publications. He is the senior editor of Bookforum and coeditor, with Lisa Darms, of Weight of the Earth: The Tape Journals of David Wojnarowicz. The Craft of Cultural Criticism, coauthored with Jennifer Krasinski, is forthcoming from University of Chicago Press. He is working on a novel, Cope, and an autofictional photo series, Abrecation.
