Prishita Eloise Maheshwari-Aplin

Prishita is interested in the transhistorical countercultures, pleasure activism, and the political realities of the queer community. Through a range of mediums, including writing, photography, research, and creative workshops, they explore and document the love, lust, fight, and loss at the heart of marginalized communities and social justice movements. Prishita’s essay/manifesto Roses for Hedone: On Queer Hedonism and World-Making Through Pleasure challenges hedonistic preconceptions, offering an alternative intentional and collective pleasure-rooted practice in pursuit of liberated futures.
