Reflect on the many layers of what you want.
Explore what makes you say yes, no, and maybe.
Dig deep on what you’re really looking for.

Developed in collaboration with the University of Michigan
To create a tool capable of taking you below your surface, we worked with The Bodies, Identities, and Technologies (BIIT) Lab at The University of Michigan. Researched and tested, this tool is your way within.

Reflections is designed to help people explore and express their evolving desires, boundaries, and relationship preferences.
It's designed to help you feel more confident and clear about who you are and what you want—so you can make connections that feel genuine, aligned, and fulfilling.
No matter where you are on your self-discovery journey, Reflections is for you (so long as you're 18+). You don't need a Feeld account to complete the experience.
Some questions might make you stop and think, but there's no pressure to have everything figured out.
Reflections is split into 3 sections: Desires, Boundaries, and Relationships.
Through Desires, you'll be invited to reflect on what draws you in, what excites you, and what experiences you'd like to explore. Boundaries focuses on what feels safe, comfortable, or off-limits. While Relationships is all about how you relate to others—what you're looking for in connection.
To honour the complexity of identity and intimacy, we decided to partner with experts in the field to ensure that Reflections is grounded in relevant research. The team from the Bodies, Identities, Intimacies and Technologies (BIIT) Lab played a key role in shaping this work.
Led by Dr. Apyrl Williams, the BIIT lab is a research group composed of award-winning sociologists, demographers, psychologists, and communication scholars with industry experience. They are women and femme-led, a queer community of color, and work with equity and ethics at the center of their vision.
Results are calculated based on the answers you provide to each question. You'll receive personalized results once you've completed each section of Reflections, with a percentage score and some text to dive into.
Your insights are private by default, but if you want to share them with someone you trust you can use the “Share” button on your results. This will create a link that’s shareable with anyone on or off Feeld, and from there they can try the experience for themselves.
Your results may contain sensitive personal information regarding your preferences, kinks, or identity. Please be mindful of this, and choose your trusted audience wisely.
The insights you share are used internally to improve both this tool and the overall connection experience on Feeld.
We never sell your data, and your responses won’t be shared with other members or used to identify you.
We adhere to GDPR standards and are committed to keeping your information private and protected.
For more information on how we collect, process, and retain your Reflections data, please see our Privacy Policy.
Reflections is designed to help you find a clearer articulation of who you are and what you want. It’s inward-looking, just for you, and won’t affect your algorithm.
If you’re on Feeld, you may want to incorporate some of what you learn in the “About” section of your bio. But that’s totally up to you.
You can also share a link to your Reflections with new connections, or add a photo of your results to your profile as shorthand.
Reflections is not a test or a quiz, but a way of seeing yourself. There are no right or wrong answers. It's just about uncovering who you already are.
This tool is designed to capture you as you are now, in this moment. It's something to come back to over time as you evolve—you can retake it whenever you like.
We recommend downloading the Feeld app so you can save your Reflections permanently and return to them anytime.
If you're using the website, your progress is stored temporarily in your browser's local storage. This means you can usually resume where you left off from the same device and browser—but there's no guarantee of how long your results will remain available.
