Boundaries

DESCRIPTION

Boundaries are basic guidelines we set for ourselves to show others how we want to be treated and communicated with. They can be emotional, physical, sexual, or relational—for example, this might include what feels good, what doesn’t, and what we’re open to exploring. Boundaries can shift over time and change depending on the dynamics or the people involved. They make space for connection that feels respectful, safe, and mutually fulfilling.
