What have we been working on?

We’ve redesigned the app to reflect what our community already knows: that dating, desire, and connection don’t follow a single path. This update makes it easier to find people who get you, see what you share, and start meaningful conversations—and to lay the groundwork for what’s coming next.

From clearer desires to a more welcoming start for new members, we’ve rethought the experience to be more intuitive, inclusive, and aligned with what Feeld stands for. This sets the stage for future improvements based on your feedback, and to make the experience safer, smoother, and more tailored to what members are looking for.

The rollout starts on July 28 2025, depending on your location. Let’s take a look.

Look and Feel

The bold visual direction we’re pursuing is precisely in order to ensure that exploring Feeld feels as intentional and expressive as our vision for the redesign. From type to color tone, movement to moments of connection, we have been guided in our work by the stories and feedback our members have shared with us along the way.

Shared desires

Now when you view another member’s profile, you’ll see any desires you share—so you can connect right away. Starting a conversation is easier when you know you’ve got something in common. No more guesswork, just instant clarity on what you both want.

Glossary Cards

Feeld’s community uses a wide range of terms to express who we are and what we want. If you’re unfamiliar with any of the options when setting up or editing your profile—genders, sexualities, relationship types, or desires—you can now tap and hold for a quick definition without having to leave the app to look it up.

What members have said: “I really love the ability to hold down the desires and see what they mean. It looks very clean and [it] is extremely helpful instead of having to look up what things mean.”

Search Filters

Filters in Discover used to be tucked away. Now they’re front and center as you browse, easy to adjust on the go, and designed to disappear when you scroll so you can focus on member profiles. Flexible filtering means less time searching, more time connecting.

What members have said: “It was easy to adjust search settings across age, gender, distance, and desire and the profiles it was showing me were really great. I sent a Ping to one of the first profiles I was shown yesterday.”

Community Guidelines

New members can see Feeld’s community guidelines while setting up their profile, and they’re also more visible throughout the app. It’s one way we’re making our values and standards clearer, and keeping Feeld a safer and more welcoming place to connect. A respectful, inclusive space doesn’t happen by accident—it starts from the earliest screens.

Performance updates

As many Feeld members will tell you: looks aren’t everything—performance matters too. While the visual refresh might be turning heads, we’ve also been working behind the scenes to make Feeld feel better: faster, smoother, and more stable when it really matters.

So what does that mean?

• Chat that doesn’t leave you hanging

We’re upgrading the chat tech so conversations feel smoother and more stable, no matter how many people are in the group chat.

• Faster load times, quicker connections

Depending on your device and connection, you may notice faster load times and smoother transitions. Whether you're checking out profiles or checking your likes, we’re making things move more at your speed. How fast you smash that like button? That’s on you.

• Less drain, more staying power

We’re reducing how much battery Feeld uses, so you can stay in the moment without reaching for the charger.
