App incident FAQs

Keep up to date with the latest information about the ongoing incident in the Feeld App

If you are reading this, you will know that the Feeld app is currently down. Our team is working around the clock to fix the issue and get it back on track. We're updating this page throughout the day and answering your questions below. As we are fixing the app you may be able to log in and also see some areas coming back online, but we'll let you know as soon as the app is completely stable. We profoundly appreciate your support and patience at this time. Feeld is an independent app founded to create a safer, more equitable space for our members. We would be nowhere without our community and will absolutely make it up to you.

Why is the app down?

Yesterday we started struggling to communicate with our database. The problem has escalated over the last 24 hours to the point where our members are no longer able to log in to the app. Our team of engineers and developers are working tirelessly to identify the root cause of the problem and deliver a fix as soon as possible. As we are in the process of fixing the app you may be able to log in and see some areas coming back online, but we'll let you know as soon as the app is completely stable.

Is this happening to everyone or just to my account?

Unfortunately, this is a widespread issue affecting many of our members. Even if you can log in, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to connect with other members of the community at this time.

What are you doing about it?

We're working on a fix as fast as possible and will keep you up to date on what we are doing to address the problem and when you will be able to connect with the community again.

Can I contact support?

This issue is affecting all of our members, who aren't able to log in to their accounts or are experiencing degraded performance. The efforts of everyone in the Feeld team are going towards fixing the app as quickly as possible. To this end, all updates will happen on this page. Rest assured that we will get back to everyone affected with the steps we will take to make things right, and we will open our Support channels as soon as the issue is fixed.

If you need to report a Feeld member or someone you've met through Feeld for breaching our Community Guidelines, you're still able to do so from our Help Centre.

How will I be compensated for the time the app was offline

We know that it's really frustrating when the app fails. To show you that we're really sorry, we're preparing a little something relating to Pings to make it up to you. As soon as we have a fix live, we will let you know more. 

I am a Majestic Member: how will I be compensated for the time the app was offline?

As ever, we thank all our Majestic Members for their continued support of Feeld. As an independent app, we rely on voluntary Majestic subscriptions to continue developing the app for the community. We also appreciate that it's really frustrating when the app doesn't work and you can't get the most out of your membership. We will address this in a way that we hope all our Majestic Members will be happy with and as soon as we have a fix live, we will let you how we are going to make it up to you.

When will the Feeld app be back online?

Our team is working around the clock to get the Feeld app back up and running, but we'll let you know as soon as we can when we have an estimate for a fix. Please keep an eye on this page, our social channels or push notifications from the app.

What are you doing to prevent this from happening again?

Over the past 6-12 months, the vast majority of our efforts as an independent company have been channelled into making the technology behind that app more reliable. We're working to ensure safety and reliability first and foremost and making continued, longterm and foundational efforts to bring you a better and smoother experience. Stick with us; we know it's a lot to ask but you will see the results of this work soon.
